Why do I recommend this technique? Blurring the background of your design will help the motion design stand out. Besides, if you are able to create a blurred background, it will surely add the professional touch. The sharpness of the design will be better noticed by the viewers.
3. Layer different shapes to create a design:
As I mentioned before, motion design is a complex design form. However, you do not have to go in the complications if you know the tricks to create a simple design. Believe me, it does not even take much of your effort.
You can use the designing tool and start layering shapes. Keep on layering different shapes until you get the desired composition. Of course, you cannot create a particular shape by layering. However, you can create an abstract composition that can be transferred into motion design.
Make sure to combine the lines of the shape once you are happy with the whole composition. This will ensure that the composition looks put together.
4. Give a creative touch:
Now that you are done with creating your very first motion graphic design, you must be thinking that you are done. You can now just upload it in your timeline and you will be done. No, my friend, no. This is not what you should do.
To give the professional touch in your design, you should include some creative touch. Let there be some fading, scaling, and rotating motions. Check out which one looks good for your design and select that.
5. Make the design original:
There are many videos on how to create motion graphic design. Creating an outstanding design with the help of these tutorials is very easy. However, chances are that you will follow the instructions and create a design that will appear to be a replica of what is already there. It will not be unique or original.
So, instead of following exactly what is shown in the videos, you can get inspired and create a new design. Even if you are not sure or confident enough to create a whole new design, you can start by incorporating something original. Once you are confident to pull off the whole design, open the editing tool and apply what you learned to create a new motion design.
